Øresund Environment Academy undertakes initiatives to support and further develop the many regional environmental education programmes and courses.

Øresund Environment Academy supports existing and environmental education initiatives. Among the initiatives currently undertaken are the following:

• Miljöbron.
• A report with mapping and analysis of the environmental sector in the Øresund Region, published in co-operation with Roskilde University and Lund University. The report contains a mapping and analysis of environmental research, education and the private sector. You can download the report (in Danish only) from our publication list.
• A short presentation of the many environmental education programmes in the Øresund Region. You can download the brochure here
• Networking with partners from various baltic sea countries in order to explore possibilities for development of international PhD-initiatives. Read more about this initiative here
• Øresund Environment Academy arranges a number of seminars on topics relevant for people working with environmental education. Among others, these have been: presentation of a mapping of the environmental education programmes and a meeting with discussions on necessary qualifications for future environmental workers.
