Øresund Environment Academy has a strong basis in the 14 regional universities in the Øresund Region. Among other things, we co-ordinate cross-border co-operation and arrange seminars and network meeetings.

By using the means of bridging, networking and matchmaking Øresund Environment Academy strives to reach the three important aims: innovation, R&D and branding.

Øresund Environment Academy works primarily within three strategic areas: corporate responsibility and environmental management, environmental education and dissemination of knowledge and, thirdly, optimisation of resources and design for the environment.

Øresund Environment Academy is a part of the Øresund Science Region together with Øresund IT Academy, Øresund Food Network and Medicon Valley Academy.

Øresund Environment Academy is closely connected to the Øresund University.
